Open Door Food Pantry

 Choice Pantry

*Due to Covid-19 our choice pantry has been changed to pre-made boxes which we bring outside on carts*

*Masks are now required due to Pettis County regulations

Thank you for your cooperation!

What is a Choice Pantry?

Rather than everyone receiving the same box of food,

patrons now go through the grocery store-style pantry

to select foods that are the best fit for their families.

Why change to a Choice Pantry?

This increases ability to make meals your families

will enjoy and reduces food waste.

What is needed to start an account?

You will need to bring your ID, names and DOB for everyone in your home and proof of address to verify you live in Pettis County.

How many families use the Choice Pantry?

Each month 2,000 FAMILIES rely on

Open Door Food Pantry

to help meet their nutritional needs.

Local families are grateful for the food they receive.

Where does the food come from?

95% of the food is provided by:

The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri,

an affiliate of Feeding America.
